Description

Lemon balm tea recipe for weight loss that’s easy, soothing, and slimming. Brew your way to better days with this calming, belly-loving tea.

Ingredients

Scale

  • 1 tablespoon dried lemon balm (or 3 tablespoons fresh lemon balm leaves, chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon organic honey (optional, but I highly recommend)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup hot water (not boiling—just shy of a rolling boil)
  • A slice of fresh ginger or a pinch of ground ginger (optional but adds a zesty kick)

Instructions

Step 1: Warm your water.
Bring your water to just under a boil—think 190–200°F. Boiling water can scorch delicate herbs like lemon balm and ruin the flavor (nobody wants bitter tea).

Step 2: Steep the lemon balm.
Place the dried (or fresh) lemon balm into your infuser or directly into your mug. Pour hot water over it and let it steep for 7–10 minutes. This gives the leaves enough time to release all their calming oils.

Step 3: Add the goodness.
Once steeped, strain out the leaves if needed. Stir in the honey, lemon juice, and ginger. Taste and adjust. Like it sweeter? Add a touch more honey. Want a little zing? Squeeze in more lemon.

Step 4: Sip and relax.
Take a deep breath, wrap your hands around your mug, and enjoy. This isn’t just tea—it’s your moment.
